Study Abroad Programs

Students pursuing a minor in Latin American Studies are strongly encouraged, but not required, to take advantage of USC’s study abroad opportunities in Latin America. Living and studying in a foreign country provides an introduction to the culture and immersion in its language.

USC Semester/Academic Year Programs in Latin America:

Brazil: Multiple Sites

The CIEE study center in Santiago, Chile; Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and/or Universidad Diego Portales administered by the Council on International Education and Exchange (CIEE).

The Youth Culture, Literacy, and Media program is based in Managua. It is administered by the School for International Training (SIT).
