Introduction to the scientific study of emotional behavior. Emphasizes research into relations between physiological and psychological variables underlying emotional experience. Demonstrations and laboratory. Prerequisite: PSYC 100, PSYC 274, and PSYC 314.

Psych 499 - Emotion, Brain, and Body

Review of research on the brain and body mechanisms mediating human emotions. Prerequisite: PSYC 100.

Psych 544 - Psychophysiology

Recent research on relations between basic psychological states (e.g., cognition, learning, emotion) and physiological response processes (e.g., autonomic responses, covert muscle activity).
