Our experimental laboratory features a state-of-the-art experimental laboratory located in the Economics Department. With its 36 workstations, it is an ideal platform to study individual decision-making, social interactions in groups, or group formation.
The facility is open to researchers from the Economics department at USC. All experiments are reviewed by LABEL's faculty to ensure they follow standard practices in Experimental Economics.
Experiments are incentivized and participants receive two payments: a fixed show-up fee is granted to any participant who comes to attend the experiment; a payment contingent on the performance in the experiment is added to the show-up fee. Participants must be informed of this policy, and of any method used to calculate the incentive payment. Moreover, participants are not deceived. They receive a complete description of the rules of the experiment they are attending.
Our subject pool consists mostly of undergraduate students from USC. Registration is also open to participants from outside USC.
