United Artists Theater

At Broadway, between 9th and Olympic

The United Artists Theatre was built at the behest of Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and Mary Pickford. It is now the building whence Gene Scott's religious messages are broadcast around the globe. Behind this building is his famous local visual neon icon, the large "Jesus Saves" sign. The interior of the 2000-plus seat theater can be seen at Sunday services.
