South Park

This southern-most subregion in downtown Los Angeles is undergoing a significant transformation. Planners view it as a mixed development, having both residential and commercial functions. At the center of new development in the area is L.A. Live, an entertainment/retail/residential complex meant to complement the Staples Center and Convention Center.
