Metro Detention Center

This is a high-rise hoosegow that looks like a hotel except for windows that are so narrow as to prevent even a file from being passed. It adorns the cover of Mike Davis' book, City of Quartz. A five-story addition to the facility is in the works. It will add the first female inmate detention facility at the site.
