Federal Courthouse

Between Spring and Main streets, north of Temple

This WPA Moderne building of the late 1930s was beautifully and convincingly carried out. Because this is the headquarters of the largest and busiest federal court district in the U.S., plans are underway for a new, $293 million dollar 19-story courthouse in the Civic Center, two blocks east of this building.
