Civic Center/Little Tokyo

 The Civic Center has the distinction of containing the largest concentration of government employees in the United States outside of Washington, D. C. The reason is simple: Here are offices of the largest county in the country (Los Angeles) and the second largest city, along with several state and federal functions. In this subregion we have included the adjacent Music Center, Little Tokyo and Arts District areas.
