Friday and Saturday, October 4-5th
9 am – 5 pm/ 9 am – 1 pm at Davidson Conference Center
USC Korean Studies Institute, with generous funding from the Korea Foundation and co-hosted by the UCLA Center for Korean Studies, hosts this annual mentoring conference for young scholars whose work involves Korean studies. This workshop, now in its 5th year, brings together the next generation of Korean studies scholars in either postdoctoral or assistant professor positions, along with senior scholars in the discipline. The intention is to link the members of this new generation with each other, provide feedback on their work from senior scholars, and in particular mentor these younger scholars through the tenure process.
By invitation only – open to graduate students and faculty for observation. Must RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org to attend as an observer.
