Fred S. Grodins’ Graduate Research Symposium

The Fred S. Grodins’ Graduate Research Symposium, held annually at USC, offers Biomedical Engineering graduate students an opportunity to showcase their research via an oral and/or poster presentation.

Merit Award

Merit Awards are presented to graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional research performance in the previous year. Research performance is evaluated first and foremost by the number of first author publications completed by the student. Presentations at national scientific conferences as well as selections for research grants and/or awards are also evaluated. (Selected by the Award Committee of the Department of Kinesiology)
