Is Freshman Science Honors Right for You?

The Freshman Science Honors Program brings together the top freshmen interested in the natural sciences.    It is not a pre-med program, though many students in it may be interested in pursuing health-related careers.    The FSH classes are advanced versions of the typical track done by a freshman natural science student, so there are no additional classes to complete.    FSH students have majors in the natural sciences such as Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics or Neuroscience.  Students in the program have a record of successes in high school including honors and AP classes and an average high school GPA of A.    The required minimum SAT I Math score is 700.  Most FSH students have taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, or both and scored a 4 or 5 on the associated exam.  A strong background in chemistry and math is strongly recommended.
