Interdisciplinary Studies

The Interdisciplinary Studies (INDS) office administers University-wide programs open to all USC undergraduates, including the General Education and Freshman Seminar programs. In addition, we offer programs that allow individual students or small groups of students to propose their own curricula, such as the Interdisciplinary Major program, Individual Programs of Study (IPOS), and Collaborative Learning Projects (CLP).

We also design or assist in the development of interdisciplinary majors and minors, such as the majors in Narrative Studies and Health and Humanity, and minors in Critical Approaches to Leadership, Forensics and Criminality, and Political Organizing in the Digital Age.

For more information about any of these programs, click on the links above. Or contact us, at inds@usc.edu, telephone 213.740.2961.

Interdisciplinary Studies (INDS) is part of the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
