The Institute for British and Irish Studies at USC maintains, IBIS-L, a listserve that keeps subscribers informed about British and Irish Studies events in the LA-area. This listserve is open to students as well as faculty and to all local people who are interested in British and Irish Studies.  If you would like to subscribe, send a message to listproc@usc.edu, leave the subject line blank, and type this text in the message area: SUBSCRIBE IBIS-L YOUR NAME (e.g., SUBSCRIBE IBIS-L JANE DOE).  Every subscriber can post notices to the list.  Once you have subscribed, you can publicize an area event by sending the information directly to IBIS-L@usc.edu.
