IBIS's Postdoc Program is currently on hiatus.

 

2008-10: IBIS is proud to introduce our post-doctoral fellow. Dr. Lindsay O'Neill is a graduate of Pomona College and Yale University. Her post-doctoral work will be an extension of her just defended dissertation, “Speaking letters: epistolary networks, communication and community in the wider British world, 1660-1760.” At USC she will be teaching courses in various aspects of early imperial history. Dr. O'Neill competed in an extremely strong group of more than forty candidates. We thank everyone who made an application and welcome Dr. O'Neill to our ever-wider British Studies community.

2007-8:  IBIS is delighted to announce that Polly Ha is our Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow for 2007-8.  A graduate of Yale (AB, 2002)  and Cambridge (PhD, 2006), Dr Ha is spending the year on two projects: a manuscript under contract with Stanford University Press on early modern English Presbyterianism and a collection of essays on the reception of the continental reformation in Britain and Ireland.
