General Websites

Department –  Directories of faculty, staff, and graduate students along with descriptions of the program and institutional resources.

University Catalogue – The official word on university policies, including especially degree requirements.  Read the “Graduate Degrees” portion of the History Department section.

OASIS (Online Academic Student Information System) – All your secured USC information, including course (enrollment history, grade report, completed course summary, etc) and financial information.  Note especially the StARS (Student Academic Record System) report which provides a comprehensive review of your progress in meeting degree requirements.

USC: The Graduate School – Information on USC fellowships, dissertation submission, guidelines and forms, student resources (including a guide to the student-faculty mentor relationship and list of research centers and institutes).

Schedule of Classes – Course registration system along with schedule of final exams, information on student fees, and a list of basic services.
