History Lab

Overview

The History Lab supports research, teaching, and publication using digital media and methods for the History Department.  The lab hosts a workshop series and provides staff assistance to all members of the History Department: including faculty, post-docs, graduate students, staff, and undergraduate History majors.  The History Lab can also provide a base of operations for faculty-sponsored research and teaching projects.  The History Lab also provides access to computers, scanners, a printer, and a wide variety of software for History Department faculty, staff, and graduate students.  The Lab also assists in the preparation of multimedia files for teaching purposes. History Lab staff is available for help in creating these materials, as well as in using Lab equipment.

Located in SOS150, the History Lab is currently staffed Mondays through Thursdays.

Please feel free to step into the lab and approach us with your questions or requests, or send us an email. The History Lab does not provide general computer support for the History Department. See "Help Resources" for information on general computing assistance.
