Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer Positions

 

The Department of History, University of Southern California, seeks to continually update its pool of qualified individuals for full time and part time non tenure track lecturers, as needed, to teach in the undergraduate curriculum during the academic year. (Fall term: August 16-December 31; Spring term: January 1 through May 15.

Qualifications: Must have completed the Ph.D. in a relevant field and have previous teaching experience in the subject area. Full time lecturers teach 5 courses for the year. Part time lecturers teach no more than 2 courses per term.

Part-Time, Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer Position

History, 2011-12 Academic Year

 

The Department of History in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks a scholar of the history and culture of modern Europe for a part-time, non-tenure-track lecturer position for the 2011-12 academic year.  We welcome applications from candidates with substantive expertise and demonstrated excellence in teaching in modern European (including British) history.  All work for the PhD must be completed by time of appointment.  Applications including a cover letter, c.v. and three letters of recommendation that speak to teaching abilities must be sent electronically to moderneurosearch@dornsife.usc.edu.  Review of applications will begin immediately and must be received by June 30, 2011, to be considered.
