Applications for Spring 2014 study abroad will be available May 8th at Dornsife Overseas Studies in College House (CLH) 201.

 

Application Deadlines:

Aug. 21st: Japan (Nanzan University)

Sept. 16th: Czech Republic, Japan (Sophia), Italy, South Africa (Cape Town), Spain and UK (BADA, Belfast, Queen Mary, UCL)

Sept. 25th: All Other Dornsife Semester Programs

SPAIN: USC Madrid Option II- Take courses at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Completion or current enrollment in an upper division (300- or 400-level) USC Spanish course required.

The Goals of Study Abroad

  • Pursue academic work that complements one's major or minor course of study.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of a particular culture by spending an extended period of time immersed in that culture.
  • Improve foreign language skills.
