French Activities

  • Pause Café

    The Department of French and Italian invites you to speak French with us at our informal conversation table held every Tuesday at noon in Taper Hall 170. Gather for discussions with instructors, native speakers, and fellow students. Everyone welcome--refreshments served.

  • Pi Delta Phi, The French Honors Society

    The Beta Chapter of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society, was chartered at USC in 1925.  The Department of French and Italian sponsors an annual dinner for all Chapter members and new inductees.

  • Francophone Research and Resource Center

    The Francophone Research and Resource Center at USC sponsors workshops, lecture series, conferences, seminars, and other activities for students, faculty, and members of the Francophone community of Southern California.

  • USC French Club

    La Societé Francophone is USC's French club.

    This semester will bring a variety of French-related events including Mardi Gras festivities, a dessert tasting and film screenings! Students can come to speak French, learn about French culture and current events, get help in French and meet friends. Meetings are bi-weekly.
