Molecular Genetics of Drosophila Aging and Video Tracking of Animal Behavior and Gene Expression

Description:

We are using transgenic Drosophila to identify and manipulate genes that control aging and longevity.  3D video tracking (computer vision) is used to assay animal movement and behavior, including expression of fluorescent transgenic reporter molecules such as GFP.

Required skills:

Laboratory experience is helpful but not required.  Computer/video/photography expertise is helpful but not required.
