Project: "What do young people in Taiwan think about the imagery on Taiwanese banknotes?"
Looking For: TRANSCRIPTION AND TRANSLATION. This summer, my graduate research assistant and I did a number of tapings of Taiwanese students talking about Taiwanese banknotes. Most of the taped sessions are in Chinese but some are in English. We are looking for USC students to transcribe the sessions word for word onto paper, and then to translate them into English. The students will work closely with my graduate research assistant, who is from Taiwan. This work will begin in September and should be completed by the end of the fall semester.
Required Skills: Native Chinese fluency, good knowledge of Taiwan, excellent English.
