Pepe Aguilar is a Mexican singer-songwriter who has redefined the Ranchero genre with his own fusion of traditional Mariachi with Pop. He is the son of Mexican icons Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre.
Pepe Aguilar is inarguably one of Latino music's greatest singer and composer. He is the most awarded Regional Mexican singer: 8 Grammy Awards (U.S. and Latin)/ 13 Premio Lo Nuestro/ 15 Number One songs on Billboard charts/ Billboard awards (including the Musical Legacy Award).
Pepe has 25 studio albums plus multiple compilations and 12 million plus records sold. Pepe's most recent album is "Lastima que Seas Ajena," a tribute to Vicente Fernandez. Aguilar received the 2,474th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 26, 2012, which was placed next to the star of his father Antonio.
