Hear how USC Dornsife is identifying society's grand challenges and implements real solutions
As the keynote speaker for the Herbert G. Klein Lecture on Civic and Community Leadership, USC Dornsife Dean Steve Kay will present Web of Impact: The Importance of Interdisciplinarity, Convergence and Translation, a discussion about how USC Dornsife is not only identifying society's grand challenges such as sustainability and healthcare, but also developing and implementing real solutions. He will share how USC Dornsife encourages its faculty and students to forge meaningful partnerships in areas including bioscience, practical politics and the digital humanities to create a unique path to progress in our communities, city, nation and world. The lecture pays tribute to USC trustee and alumnus, Herbert G. Klein (’40), who had an illustrious career in politics and media.
