Summary:

Come to the Kaya Press Open House to learn more about Asian and Pacific Islander diasporic literature, and how you can get involved in independent publishing! We'll be pairing foods from around the world with our books, to give you a taste of what we're all about. 

Description:

At Kaya’s Books & Bites Tasting Party, you’ll try foods from around the world paired with our books, to get a taste of the Asian and Pacific Islander diasporic literature that Kaya has been dedicated to publishing since 1994.

Kaya will be releasing five books of fiction, poetry, and drama this Fall, and three in the Spring. We are looking for interns to help with editorial work, as well as media outreach, business development, and event planning. Come to this open house to learn more about Kaya’s work, the world of independent publishing, and to meet our staff. You’ll be able to peruse our books, and participate in some fun literary activities.

Did we mention that they’re will be lots of delicious free food?
