Cara Wong is Assistant Professor of Political Science, Faculty Associate of the Cline Center for Democracy, and Faculty Affiliate of the Department of Asian American Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Her book, Boundaries of Obligation in American Politics: Geographic, National, and Racial Communities, was published in 2010 by Cambridge University Press, and she has also published in the Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science, and Public Opinion Quarterly, among others. Her main interests are in political behavior and political psychology, focusing on questions of race/ethnicity, immigration, and citizenship.
