Summary:
Join this national celebration of highlighting the achievements of graduate students and their impact on the intellectual, social and all-encompassing development of our community. We recognize that after four long years of undergrad education, when a person picks up his or her books again to pursue the timeless tradition of Einstein, "Nobel" and Chomsky, it is not an easy path he or she chooses. We plan to highlight the achievements of the graduate and professional students’ community, and send out a big “shout out” to them.

Marina Del Rey Bicycling
Sunday, March 10th, from 10am to 3pm @ Marina Del Rey
(Daniel's Bicycle Rental-Sale at 13737 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292)
The Marina Del Rey Bike Ride is filled with fun in the sun for all graduate students and families alike. Graduates will be able to cruise their bikes along 13 miles of ocean front bike paths
Overall the time requirement from the Bike Shop to Santa Monica Pier and back is 1.5 hours for 13 miles.
We will be providing lunch at Venice Beach Park.

The annual graduate research fair held by GPSAW is designed to highlight the fascinating graduate research going on at USC. All students will have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with presenters and a panel of faculty judges will be on hand to judge the posters and award prizes. Open Mic Night

Calling all performers - musicians, comedians, poets, and variety acts - and audiences
It will be a time for hidden talents to shine on stage.
Free milkshakes will be offered to the first 30 graduate or professional students that attend.
Student groups and ensembles are encouraged to please come and showcase their talents for a night of fun.

Tour of the San Antonio Winery

Join us for a tour of the last of more than one hundred producing wineries that once lined the Los Angeles River Basin.
The San Antonio Winery consists of a popular restaurant, a comprehensive tasting room, and aninternational wine shop with hundreds of domestic and imported labels.

Family Day Out at the Library

The Graduate, Undergraduate and Family Housing (GRUF) Building Government welcomes you to an active day out at the library.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day there will be many fun activities for children to participate in like plays, arts and crafts and storybook readings.
Families will have fun interacting with one another going through this amazing journey.
Following the Library, we will walk to Lemonades and each person will receive a free beverage.
Each person is responsible for their own transportation.
Public transportation is highly recommended because parking is scarce.
