German Stammtisch

German Stammtisch

In German speaking countries, a Stammtisch is a table reserved for regular customers at a restaurant or pub.  Please join us for a „round of“ German conversation.

We  meet on Tuesdays, 5PM at LiteraTEA (Eastside of Doheny Library – at a table in the courtyard - UNLESS THE WEATHER IS BAD OR COLD – in that event we will meet in THH 115).The Stammtisch is a good way to practice German, talk about current affairs, music, film, German culture in L. A. or any other topics that interests you. Open to everyone on campus who wants to speak German, have fun, play board games and get to know fellow German Studies enthusiasts.

Our first meeting of the semester will be on

Tuesday, February 4th at 5PM in THH 115
