Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory
Directors: Professors Isabelle Brocas and Juan Carrillo
The Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) is dedicated to experimental research on economic decision-making and strategic interactions. Experimental Economics has proved useful over the years to test economic theories, disentangle between them, and help buid new theories capable of better explaining observed behavior. Applications range from individual decisions under risk to market design, industrial organization or political economy.
LABEL offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure to pursue experimental economics studies. It is located in the Economics Department. With its 36 workstations, it offers an ideal platform to study individual decision-making, social interactions in groups, or group formation.
