Business study visits will be with companies and organizations involved in Taiwan’s global economy such as financial services, information technology, transportation, manufacturing, tourism, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
Other historical/cultural excursions trips may include
- the National Palace Museum
- Taipei 101
- Shilin Night Market
- Taiwanese puppet show
- Chinese music or opera performances

and other famous locations.
All trips will be accompanied by the instructors. The instructors, familiar with the language and cultural proficiency of the students, will prepare materials for presentation to the students on site and/or coordinate with outside presenters and participating business partners to assist in preparation of their materials. During all activities, students will be expected to speak and communicate in Chinese. Reflective reports on their experiences will be incorporated into their courses.
