In addition to regular classroom instruction and tutorial, the program also offers a variety of co-curricular activities during the exciting four week study-abroad in Taiwan. All expenses are included in the tuition.
Field trips and business study visits will take place at least two afternoons or evenings each week. Business study visits will be with companies and organizations involved in Taiwan’s global economy such as financial services, information technology, transportation, manufacturing, tourism, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
Other historical/cultural excursions trips may include
and other famous locations.
All trips will be accompanied by the instructors. The instructors, familiar with the language and cultural proficiency of the students, will prepare materials for presentation to the students on site and/or coordinate with outside presenters and participating business partners to assist in preparation of their materials. During all activities, students will be expected to speak and communicate in Chinese. Reflective reports on their experiences will be incorporated into their courses.
