    FLAS fellowships are provided by a U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant for undergraduate and graduate study of Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean and East Asian area studies and are opened to all UGs and graduate students from any department or school at USC.

    FLAS summer awards for UGs: $2500 stipend and up to $5000 towards tuition at an intensive summer language program

    FLAS AY awards for UGs: $5,000 stipend and up to $10,000 toward tuition (must take language and area studies each semester)
