Biographical Sketch
After undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin as well as two years of interning at NPR affiliate stations in Texas, I came to the sociology doctoral program at the University of Southern California in 2009. I use participant observation to study the Asian American non-profit sector. My area of interest is primarily cultural sociology, but I also use insights from organizational sociology, political sociology, sociology of race/ethnicity, and sociology of immigration to support my research.
