Biographical Sketch
I am a seventh year ABD graduate student in History and Gender Studies. I received my undergraduate degree in European History from the University of California, Santa Cruz and my MA degree in Medieval Europe from California State University, Long Beach. My primary fields are Medieval and Early Modern Europe. I am a Teaching Assistant in Religious Studies and I also work as a Research Assistant for the Interdisciplinary Research Group at the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture. My research and teaching interests include: Medieval Europe, Early Modern Europe, Saints, Monasticism, Hagiography, Gender & Sexuality, Early Christianity, and Comparative Religions.
I warmly welcome all questions about the History program or the Gender Studies program at USC.
