Description of Research
Summary Statement of Research Interests
Professor Wills' core research has been on China's relations with maritime Europeans from about 1500 to 1800. He has moved out from that center to long views of continuity and change in China's culture and its foreign relations, and to the varieties of the world of the 1600's.
