Guggenheim Fellowship Recipients

Guggenheim Fellowships are awarded to men and women who have demonstrated exceptional scholarly productivity or artistic achievement. These “midcareer” awards are intended to support gifted scholars and artists and provide them with as much creative freedom as possible. The selection process is rigorous and the competition is fierce. Despite receiving nearly 4,000 applications each year, the Guggenheim Foundation is only able to grant approximately 220 fellowships annually.
