Biographical Sketch

Suzan Wali received her MA degree in Arabic/English Translation with Interpreting from University of Salford, UK. She taught Arabic at University of Texas at Austin, Middlebury College, Middlebury Summer School, Middlebury Study Abroad Program and the Flagship Program in Egypt. She received the Fulbright award in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign language in 2007/08 and a scholarship in Teaching Foreign Languages at the University of Edinburgh in 2005.

My research focuses on Arabic/ English translation and interpreting with concentration on the difference between Translation Pedagogy and second language Acquisition.
