Summary Statement of Research Interests
Research subjects: Condensed Matter Physics, Quantum Information Processing. In particular: Equilibration/thermalization and the foundation of quantum statistical mechanics Detection of hidden order in quantum states Creation and use of Long Distance Entanglement Matrix Product States of infinite auxiliary dimension Numerical simulation algorithms based on DMRG, Matrix and Tensor Product States
