Biographical Sketch

Tim Kirkman received Emmy, Gotham, GLAAD and Independent Spirit Award nominations for his first film, DEAR JESSE. In 2005, LOGGERHEADS, a feature film he wrote and directed, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival before its national theatrical release and received numerous awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at Outfest in Los Angeles. Most recently, he directed TAN LINES, a comedy feature. His original screenplay KITTY HAWK, a feature length biopic about Wilbur and Orville Wright, was awarded an Alfred P. Sloan grant and is set to go into production in 2012. Tim also directed the feature film adaptation of David Drake's play THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME.
