Biography

Dr. Brett Gordon received his PhD. in 2015. His dissertation was entitled “Ideological Shifts in Portrayals of Ethnic Gangs and Gangsters in New York Novels and Film Adaptations.” His areas of research have included modernist literature, American literature, crime fiction, and international cinema. He has taught in the USC Writing Program since 2007.
