| Research allowed travel to Tanzania, Rwanda, and to our nation's capitol. In turn, a group from D.C's Department of Education has visited and dialogued with some 50 organizational leaders in Los Angeles on campus at USC. Presently, I am on 15 boards/projects of outreach and research, the key groups being listed here: Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA); County Commission on Children and Family Services; California African American Museum, State Board; California Science Center; Options for Youth Charter School Board; Board of Directors, The Ray Charles Foundation; School on Wheel (taking learning to homeless children); Five Million Kids (5MK): Presidential initiative for financial literacy to include five million kids. | |
