  • Summary Statement of Research Interests

Professor Segal researches the development of new theoretical approaches to the solution of the Schodinger Equation for the electronic and vibrational states of polyatomic molecules, and the application of these methods to problems of current interest. He has developed highly efficient computational methods for calculating fully correlated ab initio wave functions and energies for molecules of some size.
