| Since 1969, Schnauber has organized many cultural events in the German Department and USC's Max Kade Institute for Austrian-German-Swiss Studies for the Los Angeles community, including the Gutenberg Exhibition for Southern California, the "German Semesters" and several German and Hollywood film retrospectives. The author of countless German books, plays and scholarly articles, he also directs USC's Max Kade Institute for Austrian-German-Swiss Studies. | |
