Description of Research

Summary Statement of Research Interests

Gordon's research interests are in applied urban economics. Gordon and his colleagues have developed the Southern California Planning Model which they apply to the study of a wide variety of economic impacts at detailed spatial and sectoral scales. Recent applications have included studies of the effects of major earthquakes and other natural disasters.
