Biographical Sketch
Amanda graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in English in June, 2009. As an undergraduate, she focused mainly on modern American drama, Scandinavian studies and the rise of the novel. At USC her research interests revolve around gender studies, psychoanalysis, modern theater, and depictions of psychiatric institutionalization and female insanity in 18th, 19th and 20th century literature. When Amanda is NOT doing research, she enjoys writing plays, swimming and going to the theater.
