Michael Waterman is elected a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in computational biology and bioinformatics. He was also recently awarded the China Friendship award for his contributions to the development of computational biology in China.
Two papers from Remo Rohs’ group are selected as top 10 best papers on regulatory genomics by RECOMB/ISMB

Two papers from Remo Rohs’ group published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Cell Reportsreceived a RECOMB/ISCB Top-10 Paper award from the International Society of Computational Biology, which honors the 10 most influential papers published in 2012-13 in the fields of regulatory and systems genomics.
