Michael Waterman Awarded Prestigious Dan David Prize

USC Dornsife’s Michael Waterman has been awarded the internationally renowned Dan David Prize. In addition, Ph.D. student Lin Yang was awarded the Dan David Scholarship for the Future Time Dimension in the field of Bioinformatics.
Seven faculty members, Christoph Haselwandter, Aiichiro Nakano, Paul Thompson, Arthur Toga, Anton Valouev, Kai Wang and Arieh Warshel, joined CBB as adjunct faculty.

Seven faculty members, Christoph Haselwandter, Aiichiro Nakano, Paul Thompson, Arthur Toga, Anton Valouev, Kai Wang and Arieh Warshel joined CBB as adjunct faculty. These joint appointments significantly expanded and strengthened the CBB expertise in computational structural biology, neuroimaging, and big data science.
