Entry into the Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography Program of the Marine and Environmental Biology Section requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related subject from an accredited four-year college, a minimum combined score of 1000 or better on the Graduate Record Examinations (subject test is not required), and three letters of recommendation.
Application Deadlines
In order to be considered for all competitive USC fellowships, applications and supporting materials should be submitted by December 1. January 15 is the final deadline for applications to be considered fully for any fellowship. Applications past this deadline will be considered for fellowship or assistantship support only if funds are available.
