Minor in Interdisciplinary Archaeology

Archaeology is a highly interdisciplinary field through which material remains of our shared human past are recovered, analyzed, interpreted and recieved in contemporary society. Students interested in understanding the methods and intellectual constructs with which archaeologists work are able to adopt a minor course of study that is highly responsive to their specific intrests (e.g. culture history and language of Greece or China or pre-Columbian Americas; or spatial historical studies of ancient society; or human-environmental interactions through deep time in a landscape; ancient innovation and its impacts in society).
