Apply to the Thematic Option Honors Program

• Only students who have been ADMITTED to the University of Southern California may apply to the Thematic Option Honors Program.

• Continuing USC students, transfer students, and spring admits may not apply to the Thematic Option Honors Program.

• Students of all majors may apply to the Thematic Option Honors Program.

• Thematic Option students have average SAT I scores above 2150 and an average high school GPA of 4.0.  These are NOT minimum standards to apply for the program, though SAT scores and GPA will be considered as applications are reviewed.  Students with significantly lower SAT scores or GPA may be asked to submit supplemental materials such as writing samples.

• Since space in the program is limited, we encourage interested students to apply to Thematic Option even if they have not yet decided that they will attend USC.

• EXTENDED DEADLINE: APRIL 11

  Applicants who apply by this deadline will be notified of their acceptance status by April 18.

• Applications received after April 11 will be considered for admission to the Program after May 1 on a space available basis.
