So a new semester has begun and we are already a third into it. It’s crazy how fast time flies! I’m already halfway through college and I still want to do so much. I need more hours in the day!
I am finally taking some business minor classes but I don’t really love them as much as my environmental studies class and my writing 340 class. My last paper was on the etymology of the phrase “to hook up (with)”–I love this creative freedom I get. It’s so much different than writing 140.
I am also still working on campus and we got some new employees so it’s been fun getting to know them. We had a little get-together and are all one big family. My summer internship got extended into the fall so I am working part-time there too. It’s already a little busy. It’s definitely difficult to juggle everything at times but so far, so good. Thankfully, Helenes & Dornsife Ambassadors make life fun!
I’m really thankful that I get to experience what it’s like to work in the real world because it gives me a perspective on what I want to do after I graduate. Thank you, Dornsife, for giving me such a well-rounded education!
