I finally started my internship yesterday after a month of being home. I was first sent to Rosemead general office 3, then general office 5, then to Monrovia.

After a rather chaotic morning, I finally settled into my cubicle and got to work. I read all about respiratory protection training, which sounds boring but is actually really interesting.

I intern for the Environmental Health and Safety Department, so we study what affects employees in their environments. Today I read about noise, attended a lunch meeting with the Electromagnetic Frequency Department, and drafted e-mails for a new periodic newsletter that updates employees on corporate safety procedures.

Overall, my work  is going well, even though 9 hours a day is a long time to sit in one place. Thanks, ConnectSC!
