My name is Bobby Baseman and I am a Sophomore majoring in History and minoring in Art History. I hail from a small pueblo called Beverly Hills. Trust me, there’s more to it than palm trees and court appearances by Lindsay Lohan. When I’m not at a SAM kickback or an all-night study session in Doheny, I hang out at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) where I’ve been interning since this last summer. I am working on a project that brings prospective college students to LACMA to help volunteer at the museum’s Stanley Kubrick and Caravaggio exhibits. I strongly encourage everyone to make the twenty-minute drive off campus to check those two out!
Of course, most of my time is spent at USC, where I participate in the Blackstonian Pre-Law Honor Society, Pre-Law Society, USC Hillel, JEP and Sigma Alpha Mu. It’s a mouthful, I know, but without all these different groups, I would not have met such an incredible group of hombres and muchachas. During my free time, I like to read up on Trojan football and play basketball with my friends in the Lyon Center.
